Raoshi Restaurant

I’ve been doing some design work for a local Lebanese restaurant for a good couple of years and whilst their corporate image has been strong and their menus great, they had been relying heavily upon google images to try and showcase their food dishes. Their own attempts at photographing food had proven to be amateurish and did not reflect how appetising the dishes actually were in the flesh. I approached the restaurant to remedy this and spent a couple of hours this week building up a portfolio of images that will eventually make it to their menus, website and advertising media.

The ambient lighting in the restaurant was poor, so I opted to shoot using a pair of LED lights and a reflector to create a controlled and consistent environment for each of the food shots. The most satisfying part of this shoot was being able to sample the dishes I was photographing. A great shoot and a full belly – can’t wait to do the next dishes!
