I was recently asked to produce some canvas prints for Avanti Restaurant in Heaton Moor to replace some pictures that had started to show signs of age. The brief was simple: to source images that would shout out ‘Italy’ and to have a vintage feel. Black and white seemed the obvious answer to this and a process of agreeing the images with the restaurant owner took place.
Once finalised, the second part of the brief was to exactly resize the images so that the canvas prints would be accommodated into his existing frames – no mean feat! I’m happy to report that the new canvas prints are a perfect fit to the existing frames. The restaurant owner is impressed with the print quality and pleased to frequently receive compliments on them by the diners in his restaurant.
